Digg API Race is Now ON!!! July 25, 2006

Digg released on July 25 two very cool tools that visualize the data that is going threw there system. And the good thing it is that both of these tools are OPEN API.
Stack
Digg Stack shows diggs occuring in real time on up to 100 stories at once. Diggers fall from above and stack up on popular stories. Brightly colored stories have more diggs.
Swarm
Digg Swarm draws a circle for stories as they’re dugg. Diggers swarm around stories, and make them grow. Brightly colored stories have more diggs.
(via Digg Labs)
This means that everyone is now looking forward to the great customizations to these two tools. So I will say
“Digg API Race is Now ON!!!”

I’ve been dabbling with the Digg API and it’s pretty good.
So far I’ve built…
http://www.duggornot.com
…which allows users to check how their Digg story submissions are doing.
And…
http://www.duggornot.com/comment_reader.html
… to see how their comments are doing. I plan to integrate them both soon.
They’re still in early development but I’ve learnt a lot about the Digg API in the mean time.
